Laundry Assistant

Location: Purton

Pay rate: Up to £9.90

Contracted hours: Alternative weekend, hours vary to home needs. Ideally between 08:00-15.30 or 09.00 - 16.30

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

As a Laundry Assistant you’ll be responsible for providing a laundry service for our residents; this includes the operation of commercial washing, drying and finishing machinery. You’ll ensure the laundry area is safe, clean and tidy at all times and that all laundry is processed in an efficient and timely manner.

Some of our residents love to join in with simple laundry tasks, so you may sometimes find that you have extra help as you carry out your daily routines.

**Marden Court is a 28 bed Care Home situated in Wiltshire. The home offers residential care in a comfortable, homely setting. We’re rated 9.6 by Carehome.co.uk and GOOD by the Care Quality Commission.**

**ABOUT YOU**

You don’t need to have previous formal laundry or housekeeping experience, as we’ll give you the training and support you need. What we’re looking for is someone who is able to use their own initiative and takes pride in their work. You’ll have a positive can-do approach, with good communication skills, confident in engaging with our residents to understand their individual needs ensuring they receive the best service possible.
