Based on a farm, we are a small independent riverside café looking for waiting staff with a range of experience to join our team. The Willow Trees Café is open Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays from May through to September so you must be available to work weekends. We offer a good rate of pay, flexible working hours and a friendly work environment.

**Job description**

You will be responsible for looking after customers from seating to orders to delivering food and general housekeeping in a busy environment. You will show enthusiasm and energy and have the ability to use your own initiative and work independently with mínimal supervision. We are looking for someone with excellent communication and customer service skills.

Key responsibilities will be.
- Greeting and seating customers
- To create and maintain a friendly, vibrant, and supportive atmosphere, whilst ensuring high standards of customer service
- To comply with our food safety management system and health and safety requirements, including daily HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) diary entries. Training will be provided.
- To maintain high levels of hygiene and cleanliness
- Preparing drinks to a high standard. This includes the café’s barista service (Training will be provided).
- To undertake general duties including till/cashier duties, taking food orders, clearing of tables, washing of dishes, maintaining of stock levels. All duties to be completed in line with our high standards of customer service.
- To work as part of a team to ensure the setting up and closing down procedures are followed efficiently and effectively.
- To provide practical help in the café kitchen if needed
- Cleaning duties such as stocking, sanitising, sweeping floors, washing dishes, etc

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 2 months

**Salary**: £6.40-£13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 16 per week
