Pure are supporting an incredibly successful and well-established Financal Services organisation in Ipswich, with the recruitment of a Property Auditor. We are looking for an individual to join an existing team of 8, which has been created to conduct acomplete risk and data review of property portfolios. The role would suit professional individuals with experience of residential/commercial conveyancing and/or commercial property management knowledge.
Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 5:30
37.5 hours per week

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist the Property Audit Team Manager and wider team to review, analyse and interpret property legal documents, to identifying risk & liability that falls outside company and regulatory standards
- Record risks and taking action as required to mitigate the risks identified.
- Assist the Property Audit Team Manager and wider team to identify and resolve ongoing property management issues arising from the file audits, to ensure the smooth and compliant management of property and accuracy of system data for ongoing management.
- To maintain and develop relationships with internal and external customers including property tenants, solicitors, lenders, surveyors, investors and financial advisers to ensure accurate communication of information in respect of all processes, controlsand requirements to manage customer expectations.
- Deliver a high level of quality, accuracy and consistency in the review of each property.
- Work successfully to project targets and deadlines.
- Understand and adhere to all relevant controls such as internal risk controls, data protection, money laundering and ensure compliance of all regulatory, business and legal requirement.

**Knowledge**:

- Excellent knowledge of general commercial property conveyancing principles, associated legal matters and VAT (essential).
- Strong Landlord & Tenant knowledge (essential).
- Strong understanding of legislation & regulatory requirements (desirable).

**Skills**:

- Able to communicate effectively both verbally and written.
- Good people and interpersonal skills to build up effective relationships at all levels internally and externally.
- Ability to prioritise own workload to ensure that quality work is delivered on time and efficiently.
- Ability to work well and keep calm under pressure.
- Excellent organisational skills.

**Qualifications**:

- 5 GCSE’s (or equivalent at grades A-C (or equivalent) to include English and Maths (essential)
- Professional Qualification - Legal Executive/Licenced Conveyancer/Paralegal (desirable)
- Certificate in Financial Planning level 1 (or equivalent) (desirable)
- Certificate in Financial Administration FA2 (or equivalent) (desirable)
