We are seeking a dedicated and reliable **Caretaker** to join our school.

**About the Position**

**Contract Type**:Part-Time, Permanent, All Year Round

Working Hours: 30 hours a week, Monday to Friday

**Salary**:£12 per hour

**Start Date**:September 2023

As a Caretaker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running and maintenance of our school’s facilities. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will contribute to creating a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our students, staff, and visitors.

You will take pride in maintaining our school, from day-to-day repairs to completing risk assessments, carrying out security procedures, checking equipment and contributing to school development projects.

Your main responsibilities will include:

- Conducting regular inspections of the school grounds to identify and address maintenance needs, including repairs, replacements, and general upkeep.
- Ensuring all Health and Safety standards are met and adhered to.

**About You**

We are looking for someone who has:

- Previous experience in a similar caretaker or maintenance role.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety procedures and regulations.
- Basic handyman skills.
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting heavy objects.
- Ability to be quality focused, efficient, able to work at pace and motivated.
