Hours: 42.5 - Monday to Friday

Big Motoring World Group, is an expanding dealer group that is going from strength to strength and is looking to employ a Wheel Prepper at our NPC at Peterborough. Working as a Wheel Prepper within our busy workshop team.

We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable individuals with a self-motivating attitude, with an eye for detail and able to work as part of a team within a busy, fast moving environment.

Role and responsibilities:

- Carrying out preparation and refinishing of alloy wheels
- Preparation using various grades of abrasives to achieve the require finish prior to paint.
- Paint refinishing using the latest air drying paint technology.
- Carry out all tasks in line with your skills and the business requirements, to the highest quality standards at all times
- Maintain high standards of house-keeping

Person specification
- A full, valid UK driving licence is required
- Dealer experience preferable but not essential
- Take pride and responsibility for your own appearance as well as the appearance and organisation of the site in which you work
- Good communicative skills and ability to understand and carry out written and verbal instructions
- Prior experience of working to efficiency targets
- Team player
- Literate, numerate and proficient computer skills
- Demonstrates an honest and diligent approach to work
- Systematic and organised; pays attention to the finer details
