An exciting opportunity has arisen to support Therapies & Education Services (TES) in the provision and further development of high quality work, activity and therapy programmes, providing skill specific support and supervision to staff within the TES Department, working shifts of 8:30am - 8:30pm across 7 days.

An emphasis on creative skills in art, crafts and soft furnishing is a requirement of this role.

Rampton Hospital is one of three high secure hospitals in the country providing a range of highly specialised services to patients who experience a mental health problem, personality disorder or learning disability combined with a history of offending behaviour.

The hospital is host to a number of national high secure services including the services for women, learning disability and deaf patients, of which the post will be based in a Day Unit setting within the Women's Service Carestream.

The Day Unit Teams of which this post will be based in a setting within the Women's Service Carestream, are central to the care, treatment and recovery of our patient groups. These posts will play an important part to support clinical staff in providing a programme of therapeutic interventions for patients across the service.
- Assist TES in the development and delivery of agreed specific individual and group therapeutic programmes within the unit
- Maintain appropriate levels of purposeful and therapeutic activity within the designated areas
- To prepare equipment/materials for each individual/group session
- Keep accurate, appropriate and contemporaneous patient records in accordance with the Forensic Information Governance Group and Trust policy
- To undertake escorting duties as requested
- Provide both oral and written reports about patients as required
- Participate in quality assurance programmes as required
