Hannah Food Service is an independent, family-owned business supplying to the foodservice, fast food, and wholesale sectors across the UK. We operate as a national wholesale and foodservice distribution business. We have a custom-built distribution premise with an integrated cold store and chiller and offer a wide range of products.

**About the role**:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a rapidly growing “Food Service/” Wholesale” business within the Transport team at Hannah Food Service as a Transport Administrator on a fixed term contract. As a key team member of the Transport team, you will be based within our Skelmersdale depot and will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Transport department, ensuring the efficient coordination of vehicles, drivers, and transportation activities. This role involves maintaining accurate records, communicating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the timely and cost-effective collection/delivery of goods.

**Responsibilities**
- Maintain accurate and up to date records of transportation activities including collection paperwork.
- De-briefing drivers daily and ensure all relevant paperwork is completed correctly and filed.
- Coordinate and schedule regular maintenance for the transport fleet.
- Ensure that all vehicles comply with safety regulations and standards.
- Work closely with the Transport/Assistant Transport Manager being sure to escalate issues in a timely manner.
- Liaise with internal departments, including Warehouse and Customer Service as well as external stakeholders, such as customers/suppliers.
- Provide reports to Transport/Assistant Transport Manager on KPI’s.
- Ensure compliance with transport regulations and company policies.
- Maintaining the Transport assets register and ensuring all Transport property is returned daily such as Sat Nav’s.
- Ensuring all paperwork is scanned and filed such as POD’s and Invoices.
- Assisting with vehicle walk-rounds to ensure drivers are complying with their daily pre/post vehicle checks.
- Any ad-hoc duties

**About you**:

- Previous experience in a similar administrative role is preferred.
- Have excellent communication, written and verbal skills.
- Be able to use Microsoft Excel to an Intermediate/Advanced Level.
- Be able to follow instructions from team member and managers.
- Be able to work well as part of a team.
- Be able to use your initiative and organise yourself and workload.
- Have a great attention to detail and accuracy.
- Have some knowledge of SAP **(DESIRABLE)**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: £21,898.50 per year
