Dental Services across Scotland have been impacted by COVID-19 and the PDS will continue to play a critical role in the national dental recovery process in both the short and longer term. In addition to providing urgent dental care, you will also play an important role in the prevention of oral health disease, meeting the needs of the ageing population and reducing oral health inequalities.

The available post offer’s an exciting opportunity for Dental Officers to provide a comprehensive range of treatment for registered and access patients working under the GDS regulations. You will also offer a range of services to the elderly and student outreach clinics, as required.

We are looking for clinicians who make patient care their first priority and who thrive working with a number of different patient groups. In return, the PDS provides an exciting working environment with access to first class training and development opportunities.

The PDS is Fife Wide service with 13 clinics spread between Rosyth and St Andrews, and providing and maintaining the level of care our patients and clients deserve means staff must be able to travel throughout the Kingdom.

**A requirement of this post is to become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme Prior to appointment.
