Shifts: Monday - Friday 06:00 - 16:30 (Flexibility to work nights when required with enhancement)
Hourly Rate: Days - £16.31 PAYE / £20.63 Umbrella
Nights - £21.69 PAYE / £27.64 Umbrella
Saturday - £24.47 PAYE /£29.37 Umbrella (All hours)
Sunday - £32.62 PAYE / £39.14.27 (All hours)
Hours Per Week: 50 hours per week minimum
Duration: Ongoing
Start Date: ASAP

Europes largest Rolling Stock Producer, maintainer and servicing organisation is looking for Mechanical Experienced Engineers to join a well established team at a busy rail depot in East London
Position Summary:
The role is carrying out Mechanical & Electrical overhaul including stripping and refitting. You will be specifically focused on modifications, interior strip and replace on modern Aventra Stock within a mid-sized heavy maintenance depot. This position is thekey focal point for the safe and reliable running of the fleet and is a key requirement against the Service Agreement (SA). This is a safety Critical position working on a busy live rail maintenance depot and in this role you would be expected to completethe following:

- Work from written instruction (VMI)
- Work from Engineering drawings, working to specific measurements
- Removal of interiors and body sides
- Rebuilding on the vehicle sides
- Refitting, Seats, Grab Rails, Poles etc.
- Remove large components such as axle boxes, bogies, valves and couplers
- Replacing mechanical components to correspond to engineering drawings
