RAC in conjunction with North London Garages have exciting opportunities for Apprentice Roadside Mechanics across London

The RAC is the is the UK's leading breakdown service provider - a people-powered business of 4,000 'orange heroes' delivering the best in class motoring services for both private and business drivers.

During your apprenticeship programme you will complete a mix of both college learning and on the job training with one of our experienced apprentice team leaders. This role will provide much more than just how to be a mechanic.

You will have exposure to real life breakdown situations which will require you to offer roadside assistance following diagnostic and repair procedures, communicate with our members and aiming to get our members back on the road.

During your qualification, you will have access to your own fully equipped state of the art company vehicle. Once qualified, this role will bring you varied days where no two days will be the same whilst working in a large national company where we can offer ongoing support and progression opportunities to our employees.

To qualify for the apprenticeship programme, you will need to be over 18 years old (No upper age limit), hold a full clean UK driving licence and demonstrate a willingness to learn.

The apprenticeship programme runs for 2 years and has a starting salary of £12,000 - £14,337 per year (Plus £4,000 London Weighting Allowance if applicable).Once qualified, you will benefit from a competitive salary of £30,536 - £41,000
