Machine Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team. As a Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations. This is a vital role in our organization, ensuring that products are delivered safely and on time.

**Responsibilities**:

- Safely operate a variety of vehicles, including vans and flatbed trucks
- Load and unload goods and materials
- Plan routes and ensure timely deliveries
- Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries

**Skills**:To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:

- Experience as a van driver or commercial driver preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge to handle basic vehicle maintenance
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Ability to drive safely and responsibly in various weather conditions
- Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus

**Salary**: £14.00-£19.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 50 per week

**Experience**:

- Driving: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

- Barking, Greater London (required)

Ability to Relocate:

- Barking, Greater London: Relocate before starting work (required)
