Bridging Underwriting Assistant

**Key Responsibilities for the role of Bridging Underwriter**
- Support the Underwriting team with undertaking searches on all new cases prior to underwrite within agreed SLA’s
- Provide proactive updates to brokers to keep them abreast of progress with their cases
- Manage expectations and deadlines whilst providing an excellent service that encourages repeat business
- Proactive management of cases to ensure timely completion of loans
- Update the CRM system throughout the life of the loan, ensuring all required information is captured accurately
- Ensure pipeline is updated regularly
- Instructing professional panel to act on the bank’s behalf
- Review loan facility documentation prior to issue
- Prepare files for completion by ensuring all documents saved to file and the CRM updated in a timely manner
- Complete customer KYC/due diligence
- Ensure adherence to credit policy and procedures at all times

**Requirements**:

- Previous Bridging experience is desirable
- Experience of working in a fast paced environment with the ability to plan and prioritise workload
- Demonstrate high level of attention to detail at all times
- Able to multitask and work on your own initiative, with a flexible approach to work
- Excellent Organisational skills
- Good PC Skills and Microsoft Office Knowledge
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £33,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
