NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) Manager to work within the Diagnostics/eHealth Support Team in NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde. The next 2- 5 years presents significant transformational change within NHSGG&C including the upgrade of the current Radiology Information System and integrated systems and the implementation of a National Picture Archiving Communications System. This post will support the delivery of these priority projects and the day to day operational delivery within the Imaging Department. This post will also develop and maintain key relationships with eHealth colleagues, service users and all stakeholders utilising established processes and procedures that align both eHealth and Diagnostics Directorates.
