Upholsterer

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Upholsterer to join our team. As an Upholsterer, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling upholstered furniture pieces. This is a hands-on role that requires strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with power tools and hand tools. **Duties**:

- Fabricate and assemble upholstered furniture pieces according to specifications
- Measure, cut, and sew fabric to fit furniture frames
- Attach padding, springs, and webbing to furniture frames
- Use power tools and hand tools to shape and finish furniture components
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

**Skills**:

- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools for woodworking and upholstery tasks
- Ability to fabricate and assemble upholstered furniture pieces
- Knowledge of sewing techniques for upholstery purposes
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve issues with furniture frames
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- Attention to detail to ensure high-quality craftsmanship
- Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines

Note: This is a paid position. Internship positions are also compensated.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Freelance

Pay: £8.57-£16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
