If so, we invite you to become a volunteer with Branching Out, a vital alcohol, drug, and tobacco service for individuals under 21.**Who We Are**:
Branching Out is a beacon of hope for young people in Calderdale who are facing issues related to alcohol, drugs, tobacco, and solvents. Our mission is to provide honest, accurate advice, and unwavering support to empower young individuals to achieve their dreams and overcome the hurdles they face. We offer one-on-one guidance, engaging activities, clinical treatments, advocacy, and vital services such as C-card and Chlamydia screening.**Your Role as a Volunteer**:
As a volunteer with Branching Out, you will play a pivotal role in transforming the lives of young people. You will have the opportunity to:

- Co-facilitate groups and activities, helping young individuals build skills and confidence.
- Share accurate information and advice with those at risk of substance use and anti-social behavior.
- Provide essential support to guide young people away from criminality and towards a brighter future.
- Contribute to positive activities and events that promote healthy choices.
- Collaborate with our team to deliver impactful training in schools.
- Make a genuine and lasting difference in the lives of young individuals in your community.

**Ways You Can Get Involved**:
**There are numerous ways to make a difference through volunteering with Branching Out, including**:

- Assisting in facilitating groups and activities.
- Representing us at promotional events in schools, colleges, and more.
- Supporting Positive Future initiatives that inspire young people.
- Participating in evening outreach sessions to connect with those in need.
- Screening referrals to ensure appropriate support.
- Engaging with young people in Youth Clubs and providing guidance.
- Joining sporting activities like boxing and swimming to encourage healthy lifestyles.
