Bakery Assistant

We are a family run wholesale bakery, established for over 15 years making high quality cakes, tarts and puddings in our bakery in Orpington, Kent.

We have a vacancy for a bakery assistant, with duties which will include assisting bringing in deliveries, de-tinning cakes, weighing up ingredients, assisting with baking, washing up, cleaning and maintaining high standards of hygiene and organisation.

The job will involve regular Mon - Fri hours of 8am - 4pm. No shiftwork, no weekends.

The job involves some heavy lifting, and time in walk in freezers.

The vacancy will suit someone who is physically fit, self motivated, with quick hands and good attention to detail.

Previous experience in a commercial kitchen environment is an advantage, as is a current Food Hygiene certificate.

You must be legally able to work in the UK. We do not pay cash in hand.
