We have an excellent opportunity for a Fire Door Inspector/Maintainer to join our team and conduct fire door surveys, remedial works, and installations to the highest standards.

As the Fire Door Inspector/Maintainer, your primary responsibility will be to carry out comprehensive fire door surveys, ensuring that all fire doors meet safety standards and regulatory requirements. Your expertise and attention to detail will play a crucial role in identifying and addressing any issues, ensuring the utmost safety of our client properties throughout the designated region.

Your dedication to excellence will be evident in the quality of your workmanship, contributing to the delivery of a world-class building services maintenance service.

Our emphasis is on providing top-notch building services maintenance, and as a Fire Door Inspector/Maintainer, you will be at the forefront of upholding these high standards. Your commitment to safety and compliance will be instrumental in ensuring the longevity and efficiency of fire doors in the properties we serve.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Responsibility for Fire Door PPM, remedial repairs and installation works issued through the helpdesk within set time frames so that the customer expectations are exceeded.
- Provide accurate remedial quotations
- Occasionally assist with other carpentry/joinery works as instructed
- Ensure that all Fire Doors operates to specified performance criteria
- To provide a professional service and represent the company in a way which ensures customer satisfaction
- To take a pro-active approach to client liaison and ensure that concerns are dealt with or relayed to management as necessary
- To be fully aware of contractual requirements and customer needs at all times
- To ensure that administration requirements are actioned on time and all necessary documents / records are maintained accurately

**Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications**

**Qualifications**
- NVQ/City & Guilds in carpentry or woodworking or related trade qualification

OR
- Experience working on fire doors
- Time served carpentry and joinery experience
- Applicants who have served a recognised craft apprenticeship will be preferred
- Must be IT literate
- Full UK Driving License

**Experience**
- Significant experience in Fire Door Surveys, door maintenance and door set installations/Replacements
- Significant previous experience in providing PPM building services maintenance
- Experience of working within FM or building services within commercial properties
- Experience of working under strict Health & Safety procedures including risk assessments and method statements
