The perfect opportunity has arisen for a creative and analytical individual to undertake a Design Engineer Role. In this role you will work under the supervision of the Senior Design Engineer to develop new and existing vehicle restraint products.

In this role, you will be expected to proficiently use MS Office and Microsoft Dynamics AX Products, as well as 2D/3D software, such as Autodesk AutoCAD, Inventor and Autodesk Vault.
The day to day will involve different product development and re-development activities, including generating component drawings for testing, value engineering activities and competitor analyse to modify products to be the best in the market.

The Role:

- Product development: create component drawings to be used for testing.
- Collaborate with production team and prototype suppliers to manage the product feasibility.
- Identify the need to modify products in line with the new requirements and competitor's products.

The Person:

- Can use: MS Office Products, Microsoft Dynamics AX Products.
- Can use: 2D/3D software including: Autodesk AutoCAD, Inventor, and Autodesk Vault.
- Enjoys working within a team and problem solving.
