National Grid Excavator

Active (Solutions) Pathways is looking for an experienced and skilled Excavator. If hired, you will be an integral part of the team doing all the civils related to an extension of an old Substation.

Role: Excavator

Location: Indian Queens, Cornwall.

Length of contract: 3 Months

Start Date: 20/05/24

Hours of work: 07:03am - 16:30pm

Pay rate: £27

**Duties and responsibilities of the role**

Our client is looking for someone who has the knowledge and experience working with hand tools and has previous press operative experience, this work involves working in the carpet warehouse wood department.

The role is a very physical job where you will be lifting heavy objects on a daily basis, you will be responsible for operating machinery and maintain press to product specifications. Ensure proper maintenance, safety and functioning of all equipment.

**Skills and attributes (desirable)**

We are looking for someone who has previous worker experience as a Press Operator or similar role, proficiency in operating heavy machinery and has a keen attention to details.
