**Theatre Designer - Young Company Summer Production 23**

**Freelance Position, Fee £1700**

Theatre Royal Plymouth is seeking a Designer for our next Young Company production, The Parent Show. This will be performed in the Drum from 24-26 August 2023.

“It’s ok. I know your head’s fallen off and I just want you to know everyone’s has.”

This is a show about sadness, told with live music, energy, colour and light. Whisking us from the loc1al swimming pool to the snowy plains of Greenland via outer space and Medieval England, _The Sad Club_ asks what stops us from being happy and how we might break through those barriers.

The show will be produced in the Drum Theatre at the Theatre Royal Plymouth in August 2023. The cast will be aged between 14-20 years old.

Rehearsals commence on 15 July 2023

**How to Apply**

Interviews will take place week commencing 15 May.

Please note that this is a Freelance position with a Freelance Fee of £1,700.00. Therefore, you will be responsible for your own tax and national insurance contributions and must have a unique tax reference number.
