Cook/Cake Baker

We are looking for a happy, hands on team player to join our team, you must be passionate about producing delicious fresh food from our menu and if you love baking cakes and scones that will be a bonus. You don't need to be a chef but you should have an interest in cooking simple food. You must have great communication skills so that the kitchen and front of house team work well together. Duties will include preparing different meals from breakfast, brunch, lunches afternoon teas. You will also be required to help with cleaning down routines, following a clean as you go policy and keeping an immaculate kitchen, stock rotation, putting deliveries away, pot wash etc.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the kitchen
- Prepare and cook meals
- Bake cakes and scones
- Ensure that all food is prepared and presented in a timely manner
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as necessary from our chosen suppliers
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations

**Experience**:

- Knowledge of food preparation
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Experience working in a cafe/restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £11.50-£13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 - 30 per week
