**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in all stages of documentary production, from research and pre-production to filming, editing, and post-production.
- Collaborate with experienced documentary makers to develop engaging concepts and storylines.
- Conduct interviews, capture footage, and ensure high-quality audio and visual standards.
- Assist in the organization and management of production logistics, including schedules, equipment, and locations.
- Contribute creative ideas and insights to enhance the overall production quality.
- Participate in editing sessions and learn various post-production techniques.

**Requirements**:

- A genuine passion for documentary filmmaking and a desire to learn and grow in the field.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Basic knowledge of camera operation, lighting, and sound equipment is desirable.
- Familiarity with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro) is a plus.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A creative mindset with the ability to think critically and problem-solve.
- Flexibility to work in different locations and adapt to changing project requirements.
- A portfolio or examples of previous work (if available) will be highly regarded.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 15 per week

**Salary**: £7.00-£10.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Leeds: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Video editing: 1 year (preferred)
