Crewe, United Kingdom Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust Full time

Are you looking for a new challenge in a friendly and supportive Breast Care Unit that's committed to maintaining exceptional clinical standards and happy staff? You may just have found it

We have a vacancy for band 5/band 6 Qualified/Trainee Mammographer.

You must be a Radiographer who is qualified and has some experience in Mammography. You'll be undertaking both screening and symptomatic aspects of the role and should have experience of both. Crucially you must be someone who puts patients first and has a strong commitment to quality and safety; we want our patients to remember us as the place where they were not only seen and treated quickly and efficiently, but where they were treated with dignity, compassion and respect. Essentially, you must also be committed to working with others to create the best outcomes possible for our patients; we really want a team member who understands what team working means.

As a team we're committed to developing careers, not just offering jobs and currently have 3 Advanced Practitioner Radiographers; 2 undertake film reporting and 1 carries out stereotactic procedures, skills we want to continue to build in our workforce. We all participate in working some evening screening sessions and this is an essential aspect of the role.

If this sounds like the change you've been looking for them please give us a call or pop in for a look around the unit.
