We are currently recruiting for a compliance coordinator to join our growing team based in Northampton. Predominantly based at our head office, you will be responsible for supporting our current policies throughout the business, whilst identifying ways to improve the quality & accuracy of our financial accounting structure with GXO.

This role is being offered on a full-time, permanent basis, the hours of work are Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 1700 However, we do offer a hybrid working model and occasional travel to sites across the UK will be required.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £26,000 per annum. You’ll also receive 33 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days so you can enjoy a positive work-life balance. **What you’ll do on a typical day**:

- Conducting Quarterly reviews of policies, process flows and procedures with the SOX Process Owners
- Co-ordinate audits for UK companies within the GXO Group, including statutory audit, SOX audit, internal audit
- Support with internal control process as well as helping to test new control process which have been developed
- Find opportunities where controls can be standardised, centralised and automated

**What you need to succeed at GXO**:

- Strong background in financial accounting and audit, previous experience of working in a SOX or incompliance environment is preferred
- Be comfortable dealing with senior management/external auditors and have strong communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ideally have or working towards CIMA/ ACCA accountant or equivalent
