We Manufacture and distribute Electrical installation equipment and products.

As Plastic Extrusion Operative, your duties will include:

- Setting up, adjusting and maintaining extrusion line/Injection moulding line
- Previous experience operating similar machinery in the plastics industry
- Basic machine maintenance
- Maintaining a clean and tidy working area
- Other duties may be assigned in production,warehouse or in other parts of the company as required and needed.
- Setting moulding machines as per the setting sheet.
- Carrying out tool changes.
- Adjusting machine parameters as necessary to maintain production.
- Trouble shooting moulding/production issues.
- Identifying tooling issues.
- Ensure efficient running of equipment.
- Completion of quality checks in accordance with company procedures.
- Working as part of a team to ensure production requirements are met within the department on time.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities working with lean manufacturing principles.
- Particpate in further training
- Have a good foundation in plastic Extrusion/injection moulding extrusion
- Be capable of setting machines, carrying out tool changes, identifying and trouble-shooting moulding issues, and have a good knowledge of polymers
- Be self-motivated and work using own initiative.
- Be able to accept instructions when provided

**Salary**: £10.42 per hour
