The NHS is changing. More emphasis on community-based care means there’s never been a better time to join us.
We’re recruiting now for compassionate healthcare professionals who want time with their patients. Time to treat the whole person, not just the condition. Time to focus on what they want to achieve and how we can help them to get there.
We are looking for a Senior Emergency Care Practitioner/Nurse to join our Sevenoaks Urgent Treatment Centre and Edenbridge Minor Injuries Unit.
Our Community hospitals are run by a team of matrons, registered nurses, rehabilitation assistants, health care assistants, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, care managers, pharmacists, visiting medical officers and medical consultants.
We believe our staff offer the best care when you feel supported and valued. As such we offer flexible working and encourage development opportunities with our dedicated E&D team.

We work closely with our patients and their families to offer a holistic approach to care. We offer a "home from home" environment to enable our patients to recover and get home sooner.
You'll communicate and maintain excellent working relationships with all those that use, commission and work within the services delivered.
You will undertake direct clinical work for a minimum 60% of your time.
You'll be responsible for ensuring that the team provides effective care planning which meets professional standards and is in collaboration with their services users and carers. You will get to facilitate reflection on the service delivery and identification of quality improvement work.
As a senior member of the team you will manage the unit on a day to day basis, assisting the Clinical Lead and acting as a mentor to junior members of staff.
