Healthcare Assistant

Job Summary:
The Torbay and South Devon Enhanced Access Service is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will provide essential support to patients across three main hubs in Paignton, Newton Abbot and Totnes. The service provides patients with routine primary care appointments at the weekends, outside of normal GP Surgery hours.

Experience of Emis Web and/or SystmOne would be preferable, however training can be provided. There may be occasions when we need you to work at multiple sites in one day, so driving and access to your own vehicle would be an advantage.

**Essential Skills**
- ECG recording
- Phlebotomy
- Blood Pressure, including manual
- Chaperoning duties
- Cleaning and re-stocking trolleys
- Suture Removal
- Basic dressings and wound care
- Wound checks
- NHS Healthchecks
- Ear syringing

- Saturday 08:00-18:00
- Sunday 08:00-13:00

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £17.20 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 15 per week
