Customer Care Supervisor

**John K Philips Group Ltd are one of the longest established logistics companies in the Northwest, who have seen huge growth and success these past few years. We now have an exciting opening for a Customer Care Supervisor to join our fantastic team based in our new Warrington location.**
We are looking for an experienced, confident and motivated individual to lead and develop our Customer Care Team.
The Customer Care supervisor is responsible for the management of our customer service team and the overall day-to-day management of our clients. This involves driving through a spirit of ownership, “can do” attitude & proactive communication to ensure our clients receive a “best in class” service.
**Role & Responsibilities**
- Manage the customer’s day to day requirements
- Oversee customer relations
- Quote new business from new & existing customer enquiries
- Organise review meetings with clients and document
- Integrate new business in line with customer expectations
- Negotiate rates with clients & suppliers
- Complete & distribute customer KPI reports
- Organise and lead your team
- Comply with operating standards & analyse performance in your area of activity
- Provide support to internal departments
- Assist senior management with the development and implementation of strategies within the company
- Provide reports and updates to management
- Problem solving with customers and suppliers
- Develop and improve processes in order to increase efficiency
- Health and safety co-ordination and implementation
- Assisting in the management and administration of human resources including: carrying out appraisals, performance reviews, identifying skills deficiencies and training needs.
- Paperwork and systems monitoring
- Plan work schedules, assign tasks and delegate accordingly, ensuring tasks are completed on a timely basis and to a good standard.
**Skills & Experience**
To be successful in this role you will need to have experience in an office management position, you will have supervised administration staff and been a responsible and effective decision maker.
The skills we required for this role include:
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written,
- The ability to manage and hit deadlines,
- Exceptional organisation skills with good attention to detail,
- You must have the ability to identify, implement and complete projects and improvements,
- Effective leadership and discretionary and confidentiality skills
- Decision making ability and the ability to take proactive ownership of tasks and projects
- Knowledge of customs declarations would be advantageous
Full training will be given on all I.T. Packages and process requirements
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £33,000.00 per year
