Midday Supervisor

Are you looking for your next role as a Midday Supervisor? We are working on behalf of a Primary School in Scartho who is seeking two Midday Supervisors

This role is a long term role that is likely to go permanent. The hours will be 1.5-2 hours per day over the lunchtime period and the pay will be between £10 - £12 per hour. The roles are to start ASAP.

We require that you have previous experience working with children or you will not be suitable for this role.**A DBS on the update service is essential.**

As a Midday Supervisor, duties include, but are not limited to:

- Cleaning up spillages and cleaning the dinner hall after lunch time - sweeping the floor, cleaning tables and stacking chairs and tables if necessary
- Encourage children to eat their packed lunch or hot school dinner
- Escort children from the dinner hall to the playground or classroom, when it is wet play
- Supervising the children in the playground or classrooms during wet play
- Caring for the personal cleanliness of children
- Appropriately reporting or logging lunchtime accidents or incidents
- Ensuring children's safety at all times

The successful Lunchtime Supervisor will:

- Respond calmly and quickly to situations
- Have some basic first aid knowledge
- Work well as a team but also as an individual
- Have experience of dealing with children
- Ideally have had experience working in a similar role
