Quality Inspector

Interaction Recruitment are currently recruiting for our client based in Cramlington who are looking to add an experienced Quality Inspector to their expanding team on a Permanent Basis.

Reporting to the Quality Manager, The Quality Inspector’s primary responsibility will be to review incoming materials as well as finished products to make sure they meet company and customer-specific requirements.

**The Role**:
In this role the Quality Inspector will be responsible for the following:

- Providing timely and accurate feedback on drawings to the Engineering function.
- Creating efficient off-line programs for the CMM machinery.
- Performing visual and dimensional inspection of components at goods in and finished goods.
- Recording and escalating non-conformances where issues are identified.
- Operating our calibration system for all measurement and monitoring devices.
- Supporting with measurement system analysis and gauge R&R
- Supporting with Capability Studies.
- You will have previous experience in a similar Quality role.
- Competent with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Can read/interpret and understand 2D Drawings and 3D Models.
- Operate a CMM (Co-ordination Measurement Machine).
- Experience in patrol inspections.
