Nursery Assistant

**About You**:
We are seeking a Nursery Assistant to join our team with providing top-quality care and services to our age group 6 weeks to 2 years. We are also seeking an after-schools assistant working with primary school aged children.

**Duties**:

- The post holder should support the above persons ensuring the smooth running of Trinity Park Nursery and offering a safe, caring, and welcoming environment for children and their families.
- The owner, to whom all other staff is responsible, lays down the overall policies of Trinity Park. It is the responsibility of the post holder to make him/herself aware of these. There will be opportunities to review policies annually.
- The post holder should support the above staff in providing a stimulating and varied programme of play, to enhance each child’s abilities; and do so in a way which ensures the safety and well-being of the children at all times.
- The post holder should be able to integrate with the other staff, including the supervisory staff, to ensure a team-working environment.
- The post holder should have a detailed and up-to-date knowledge of child development and be able to demonstrate an ability to relate this to his/her practice.

**Requirements**:

- Qualified in Level 2, 3 or Higher Diploma in Child Care.
- Training in child protection and safeguarding children.
- A recent Paediatric First Aid certificate
- Fluency in written and spoken English

**Experience**
- Experience of working in a childcare setting or school
