Concrete Operatives

We are looking for a concrete supervisor & gang of concrete operatives to join our team on HMP Glen Parva

Must have a CSCS card

Supervisor : SSSTS + CSCS card

Concrete worker:

- Read Blueprints and Determine Necessary Measurements
- Mix and Pour Concrete
- Spread Concrete
- Shape Concrete with Wood or Plastic Forms
- Monitor the Drying Process

Concrete finisher
- Working with concrete by placing, finishing, protecting, and repairing concrete
- responsible for setting the concrete forms, ensuring they have the correct depth and pitch.
- spreading the concrete using shovels and rakes,
- Smoothing the surface using either a hand trowel, a long-handed bull float or by using powered floats.
- press an edger between the forms and the concrete to chamfer the edges so that they are less likely to chip.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Temporary contract

**Experience**:

- Concrete operative: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- CSCS (required)
