**About The Role**:
***Please note this is a temporary position until 12th July 2024**

An exciting opportunity has arisen at EKC Ashford College for a Transition Tutor. This is predominantly a teaching role, with small groups of students (3-5).

As a Transition Tutor at you will plan highly relevant and distinctive small group sessions to meet the needs of each student, in liaison with the Head of Maths and English to support outstanding progression and support for students. You will need experience of working in an educational setting and a relevant teaching qualification.

**About You**:
You will be highly organised, creative and be able to plan and teach engaging and innovative sessions with demonstrated interpersonal skills. Assessing and tracking student progress, to further plan intervention this will be a vital part of the role and ensuring all students develop the skills they need to succeed.

You will be passionate about making a difference to the future careers of our students, providing academic and pastoral support. Teaching and vocational experience is essential.

This is the ideal opportunity for someone who will have taught in the past and who now wants to give more individualised tutoring and support to small groups of students.
