Legal Cashier

**Role Responsibilities**

You will ensure compliance with the SAR, Money Laundering Regulations and VAT requirements in all aspects of the role, Adhere to Cyber Security and being vigilant at all times, monitoring and processing incoming and outgoing receipts and payments using onlinebanking software.
- Bill Processing
- Daily banking
- Good understanding of client matter ledgers
- Processing Purchase ledger invoices
- Bookkeeping and accounts maintenance in accordance with the SRA Accounts Rules, Quality Procedures Manual, LSC Contract and Lexcel requirements.
- Sage payroll an advantage but training will be given
- Banking including reconciliation in accordance with solicitors accounts rules
- Debt Management/Collection
- Maintenance of the firm’s petty cash system
- Any other duties which from time to time are required by the firm

- Knowledge of the SRA Accounts Rules.

- A recognised solicitor’s accounts qualification (Desirable)
