**Skilled Operative Packing**

Cranswick Country Foods Poultry is a specialty producer of delicious, cooked poultry ingredients and is a leading innovator in the industry. We create exciting, original products that meet the needs of today’s busy consumers. We are proud to have opened a brand new, purpose built, breaded chicken factory and have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team.

**The key elements of the role are**:

- Under the guidance of the Line Leader, ensure that each product specification is followed, and any anomalies are reported immediately.
- To ensure that any production targets set by the Line Leader or Shift Manager are met; or if this is not possible, shortfalls are reported to the relevant person in a timely manner.
- To maintain a clean and tidy area (work, changing room, canteen, etc.) meeting both safety and hygiene regulations of the site.
- To report any equipment defects immediately to the Shift Manager / Line Leader.
- Reporting to management any issues which may impact on food safety, health & safety, productivity and service levels.

**Other Duties**
- Mentor (assists & help) new employees within the department.
- To contribute and participate in projects that may be outside your usual remit as requested and agreed by Management.
- Be conversant with four strategic pillars (QVIP). Champion this within the department and the wider site.
- Working with Cemex scale.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £12.17 per hour
