ERP Configuration Administrator

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Ping Information Systems team as an ERP Configuration Administrator at our head office in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire, reporting to the Business Systems Manager. The role will support the set-up of product and service information within Ping’s ERP system, maintain system pricing and other product information throughout product lifecycles. Also ensuring products are defined accurately within the ERP prior to order entry/production commencing.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supporting the product setup process in the system from start to finish including interfacing with other departments to gather the information required in line with our product timelines.
- To analyse and interpret product specifications and repair procedures to identify all product components and tasks, and their effects on information systems.
- To regularly update communications to other departments following system updates.
- Test all relevant systems for product accuracy including product configurator, enterprise quoting, and Ping’s ERP system.
- Support in setting up, testing and support for our order entry software (EQ).
- Maintain the catalogue of Ping’s UPC codes and the systems the utilise them.
- Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Previous experience as a technical administrator or similar working with operational teams preferential.

SKILLS AND PERSONAL QUALITIES
- To be process driven, analytical and detail oriented.
- To be a confident user of Microsoft Excel.
- Can establish and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to learn, take on new challenges and drive change.
