Hotel Receptionist

Strathburn Hotel is managed by Compass Hospitality and located in Inverurie, Aberdeenshire.

We are a 26 bedroom hotel looking for reception team members who will be part of a small team.

**As Receptionist your key responsibilities include**:

- Providing a friendly and efficient service to guests at all times ensuring company policy and procedures are complied with at all times
- Being knowledgeable to promote the hotel and its facilities to guests, while dealing with guest queries/complaints promptly, referring to the Duty Manager, where appropriate
- Providing accurate shift handovers ensuring all items requiring attention are detailed in handover diary and the shift checklist is completed to required standard.
- To be fully aware of and understand Fire, Bomb, Health and Safety and emergency procedures.

**What we are looking for**:

- Previous experience in a quality hotel
- Excellent communications skills
- Experience of using a Front Office Management system, e.g., Rezlynx, EPOS
- Ability to work on a rota basis, including weekend work. Typical shifts are 07:00-15:00 or 15:00-23:00, as the business requires

**Salary**: £10.42 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Work Location: In person
