Line Leader

**About The Role**:
**TRANSPORT AVAILABLE FROM PETERBOROUGH**

We are looking for Line Leaders to join AMFresh in our brand new facility at Alconbury. If you have Production experience and would like a new challenge to lead one of our lines throughout the shift, being responsible for delivery of the Production Plan, managing colleagues that are working on your line, so you all can reach your goals

**Full time, Permanent and weekly paid**
- **Location**:Alconbury PE28 4YA
- **Pay**:£11.42 - £12.82 per hour
- **Shifts**:Day Shift, 4 on 4 off, 7.00am to 7.30pm

We have a company bus that runs from Peterborough for all of our shifts.

The bus is just £6 return per day from Peterborough and we have many stops within the City. All stops, and how to book is here;

**What you’ll be doing**

We are looking for AM-bitious individuals who have a passion to support and assist the delivery and maintenance of daily orders from our customers. At AM Fresh you will help us run the show, but you will be responsible for:

- Carry out safety checks to ensure the machinery is in a good and safe working condition, completing relevant check sheets at start and end of shift.
- Drive production lines to fulfil daily customer orders in the most cost effective way, whilst meeting their specifications, efficient packing operation and maintaining H&S requirements on a day to day basis.
- Liaise with the Shift Manager regarding required job, set line according to customer specification.
- To ensure food safety and quality related procedures are adhered to by all operatives.
- To ensure the production line is kept clean posing no risk of food safety.
- To ensure all food safety and quality standards are met and relevant checks are completed in time.

- Previous experience in a similar role
- Good all-round communication skills and understanding of English language
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
