As a School Therapist at Ashbrow Primary School, your responsibilities will include: Delivering one-to-one short-term therapeutic interventions to primary school-aged children referred through the school. Building and maintaining effective relationships with school staff and management teams. Assessing and determining the need for intervention with children and families referred. Holding a caseload of children and young people, conducting assessments, and formulating emotional and mental health needs.

Providing evidence-based individual interventions in the school setting. Collaborating with the School team to identify appropriate practitioners or CAMHS pathways for onward referrals. Offering consultation, support and advice to school staff and professionals as needed. Working within the school to provide support where required.

Ensuring safeguarding concerns are addressed appropriately and contributing to safeguarding processes. Maintaining confidential records in line with Northpoint's procedures. Collaborating with other professionals to ensure therapeutic services are evidence-based and tailored to the client group. Communicating with parents and families according to Northpoint's guidelines.
