We are looking for a Traffic Clerk based in our panettoni park site (NN7 4DE) to work rotating shifts Monday to Friday 0500-13:00/13:00-9:00. The position is offering the salary of £ 25,028.64 per annum.

The position holder will be Responsible for actioning the daily transport delivery and collection plan; communicating any issues to the relevant contracts and ensuring the transport operation meets its service levels.

Key responsibilities:

- To answer incoming telephone calls from drivers into the Transport Office following the Stop Call Wait procedure..
- To reconcile any queries or problems relating to drivers or deliveries in a timely manner,
- To be proactive and be aware of potential delivery problems before they occur escalating any potential issues to the Line Manager in a timely manner.
- Live Debrief of Drivers in a timely and professional manner.
- To reconcile any “refused” delivery telephone calls from drivers directly with the contracts / informing customer services.
- 5S compliance - Sort, Straighten, Sanitise, Standardise, Sustain
- To communicate any delays or failures to Contract Management via customer services in a timely manner.
- Ensure all health and safety procedures are adhered to, including PPE, escalating any concerns to your line manager at the earliest opportunity.

About You

To be considered as a Traffic clerk, you will need:

- The proven ability to interface with customers
- Good organisational skills and a detail-oriented approach
- The ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency in IT, including Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to work under pressure & to deadlines
