Pr Consultant

This exciting position is for a PR & Content Consultant where you will be part of a fun, hardworking team of professionals in a growing business.

**Key Role Elements**:

- Be able to spot PR opportunities and use your creative flair to develop and deliver exciting ways to capture media attention and grow awareness, enhancing reach through different methods such as PR stunts and engagement tactics.
- Represent the business at client meetings, presentations, networking sessions and events as required.
- Have the ability to review data, analytics, cyclical PR and use this date to inform tactics and adjust your PR strategies and programmes to deliver on targets.
- Work closely with members of the content team to support and upskill them, especially when it comes to writing press releases.
- Take responsiblity for the management of news announcements, including copy writing, editing and distributing press releases and articles, thought leadership and opinion pieces.
- Have a good network of news outlets to pitch news to journalists.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in public relations.

**Required Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, _or_ a related field
- Strong knowledge of public relations principles and practices
- 3+ years experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- In-depth knowledge of the media landscape across different channels - broadcast, print and online media
- Experience working with local, regional and national media and journalists and the know-how to sell stories
- Able to attend the office 2-3 days a week
