Job Description: Multi Trades - Painter / Decorator

Location: Faringdon SN7

Working Hours: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (unpaid lunch)

Duration: 8 weeks from 12th June until August 7th

Pay Rate: £19 per hour

Job Role Information:

- Stand-alone job working on a singular site, a 10-bedroom hostel/HMO
- Tasked with replacing the kitchen and refurbishing shared spaces
- Responsible for both internal and external redecorations

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare surfaces for painting by removing old paint, filling holes, and repairing cracks
- Ensure a high standard of finish on all painted surfaces, both interior and exterior
- Safely operate and maintain painting equipment and tools
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete the project efficiently and effectively

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Painter/Decorator, with knowledge of various painting techniques
- Proficient in using painting tools, such as brushes, rollers, and spray guns
- Ability to mix and match colours, and knowledge of different types of paints and finishes
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently
- Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines and complete tasks within given timeframes
- MUST have own tools and equipment necessary for the job
