Claims Handler

We are hiring a Claims Handler for our client in their Finchley office.
As a Claims Handler you play a crucial role in managing and facilitating the claims process for our clients. This position requires a dedicated and empathetic professional with strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide compassionate support to clients during their times of need.
On offer is an excellent salary between £30,000-£40,000. Typical working hours are Monday-Friday 9am-5pm.
**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Claims Processing - Receive and document client claims, ensuring all necessary information and documentation are complete and accurate.
2. Client Support - Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the claims
process, providing timely updates and addressing inquiries and concerns.
3. Claims Investigation - Investigate the validity of claims by gathering evidence and interviewing involved parties.
4. Documentation and Reporting - Maintain organized and detailed electronic claims records, including all correspondence and documentation.
5. Negotiation and Settlement - Negotiate with insurance carriers to secure the best possible settlements for clients.
6. Partner Management - Collaborate with external partners, such as adjusters and claims companies
7. Policy Compliance - Ensure that claims handling practices adhere to industry regulations, ethical standards, and company policies.
**Qualifications**:
- Have 2-5 years experience as a Claims Handler.
- Strong knowledge of insurance policies, coverage options, and claims procedures.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide
empathetic support to clients.
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in claims documentation.
- A commitment to ethical business practices and compliance with industry standards.
