This is a Brighton Women's Centre post with a secondment into Advance services in Kent.

**Advance **delivers support for women who are involved in the Criminal Justice System. In line with BWC and Advance’s values, Advance adopts a relational, trauma-informed, asset-based approach. Advance supports women with a range of underlying needs, with the overarching aim of supporting women to move out of the Criminal Justice System and improve their access to a range of services.

The Community Caseworker will provide holistic, integrated casework support for women in Kent who have been referred by The Probation Service to complete Community Rehabilitation activities and to those women being released from prison as part of their Post Sentence Supervision, providing some in-reach and Through the Gate support. The keyworker will support women to navigate and access the services they require to address a range of practical and emotional needs, including helping with signposting, advocacy, and referrals. She** **will be informed by BWC’s values, policies and procedures and will understand the importance of building trust and self-esteem with service users, to enhance recovery and engagement with BWC and other services. She will complete all reporting requirements on both the Ministry of Justice database system and the Advance Minerva database, MODUS.

- **Responsible to**:Advance Minerva Service Manager and BWC Senior Practitioner.
- **Purpose of role**:The Community Caseworker will assist women in West Kent who have been referred by the Probation Service to complete Community Rehabilitation activities, as well as women who are being released from prison and are undergoing post-sentence supervision.
- **Salary Grade**:£26,181.75 pro rata
- **Working hours**: 21 hours per week within normal office hours 9am-5pm. Occasional out of hours working may be required.
- **Work locations**: Kent based with a focus on West Kent
- **Contract Details**:Fixed term to March 2026
