Buyer - Construction

Mosaic Recruitment have a new and exciting opportunity for an experienced Buyer to join their vibrant and creative team.
The role requires assisting project managers in the general running of design projects.
It will involve a degree of travel, local and abroad to inspect various sites.
Office based Monday to Thursday and working from home on Friday - 9am to 5:30pm.

**Responsibilities**:

- Creating schedules, obtaining furniture, fixtures & equipment (FF&E) costs, generating orders, producing installation programmes, and progress-chasing those installations
- Attending briefings and site-meetings, carrying out surveys, overseeing and reporting on contractors' progress, carrying out quality-control inspections
- Overseeing FF&E installations on site and setting out furniture
- Assisting project directors in snagging completed works and issuing snag lists

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 5 years' experience within purchasing
- Excellent Excel knowledge is vital
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Be well presented
- Able to work on own initiative
- Able to quantify FF&E from drawings and schedules
- Ideally have some building & manufacturing knowledge
