**SQL Server DBA, ERP**

An experienced SQL Server DBA, is urgently needed to join an innovative R&D company in Abingdon, Oxfordshire. With options to work remotely two days a week, this is an excellent opportunity for a SQL Server DBA to progress their career in a company trulypassionate about their employees' development.

**The Role**

Currently at the beginning an ERP implementation project, the SQL Server DBA will play a key role in database design, scalability, availability, tuning and performance enhancements.With data currently sitting in a variety of disparate databases, the SQLServer DBA will need to create the necessary storage database structures, before turning to the required data manipulation and migration, as well as looking at reporting needs.

As well as technical database knowledge, the SQL Server DBA will also need the business analysis skills to be able to understand the needs of the business, and provide appropriate tactical and strategic solutions.

**What’s Required?**
- Solid experience as a SQL Server DBA, with a variety of versions of SQL Server
- Strong business analysis/project experience, with systems implementation/migration experience a plus
- Some reporting experience - creating reports, dashboards, etc.
- Any experience with Oracle and/or cloud technologies would be a plus
- Any experience of having supported/developed databases underpinning core business systems such as ERP or CRM would also be advantageous
