We are looking for a picker/packer with flt licence for our client in Basildon.

The role is blended between doing picking in the warehouse and when required to load/unload lorries.

Main duties:

- Accurately pick items from the inventory based on order details and pack them securely for shipment.
- Ensure that all orders are processed accurately and efficiently, including verifying product quantities, labeling packages, and preparing them for shipment.
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by keeping track of stock levels, conducting regular stock checks, and reporting any discrepancies or shortages.
- QEnsure that all items picked and packed meet the quality standards set by the company by carefully inspecting products for any damages or defects.
- Keep the warehouse clean, tidy, and well-organized to maximize efficiency and ensure a safe working environment.
- Work closely with other warehouse staff and colleagues to coordinate tasks, communicate any issues or concerns, and ensure smooth operations.
- Meet or exceed the productivity targets set by the company by working efficiently and accurately, while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
- Operate and maintain warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents, injuries, or damage to products.

Shift patern is 4 days on/ 4 days off from 7am to 7pm.

Pay rate:£11.70 per hour
