Customer Liaison Officer required at a manufacturing company in Crewkerne - TA18. This role will encompass providing a high level of administration support to the wider team, and ensuring seamless and efficient communication between our customers and internal departments.
- £26,000 - £29,000 per annum, depending on experience- Monday - Thursday 08:30 - 17:00, Friday 08:30 - 15:00- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing to 28 days with long service- Discretionary bonus (annual)- 4 x salary death in service payment- Corporate healthcare plan- Employee assistance program including Wellbeing App- Discount scheme- Cycle to Work scheme and EV salary sacrifice scheme- Employee Share Scheme (after 12 months)- Free parking on siteAbout the role
- Act as the main point of contact for customer inquiries related to orders, deliveries, and logistics- Collaborate with internal teams to address customer queries and concerns promptly.- Receive and review purchase orders and sales orders- Enter and process order information accurately into computer systems- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records - customer interactions, transactions, order details, and logistics information.- Collaborate with the warehouse dispatch team to schedule and dispatch orders in accordance with customer requirements- Monitor shipment status and provide timely updates to customers- Generate reports as needed for management and other stakeholders.- Previous experience in customer service or a similar role- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.- Familiarity with ERP systems and order processing workflows.- Strong understanding of logistics coordination and supply chain management.- Confident using Microsoft office packages
