As a Bus Conductor with a primary focus on ticket sales, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional service to our passengers while maximizing revenue through effective sales techniques.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ticket Sales: Utilize proactive sales techniques to promote and sell bus tickets to passengers, maximizing revenue opportunities.
- Customer Engagement: Engage with passengers in a friendly and approachable manner, assisting them with ticket purchases, route information, and any inquiries they may have.
- Payment Processing: Accurately handle cash, credit/debit card transactions, and other forms of payment, ensuring adherence to established procedures.
- Sales Targets: Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics by actively promoting ticket sales and upselling additional services.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety regulations and company policies to ensure the well-being of passengers and staff at all times.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with passengers, colleagues, and supervisors to address any issues, provide assistance, and coordinate bus operations efficiently.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with fellow conductors, drivers, and other team members to ensure smooth bus operations and a positive passenger experience.

**Requirements**:

- Proactive Sales Experience: Previous experience in a proactive sales role is essential, with a demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Customer-Focused Attitude: A genuine passion for providing excellent customer service and assisting passengers with their needs.
- Effective Communication Skills: Clear and confident communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with passengers and colleagues effectively.
- Basic Math Skills: Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations for processing payments and maintaining accurate records.
- Team Player: Willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and a positive attitude.
- Physical Stamina: Capable of standing for extended periods and moving comfortably within the bus environment.
- Reliability: Dependable and punctual, with a strong commitment to fulfilling job duties responsibly and consistently.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Sales Training: Any formal training or certification in sales techniques or customer service is advantageous.
- Familiarity with the Transport Network: Knowledge of local bus routes, schedules, and tourist points of interest is beneficial but not required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Zero hours contract

**Salary**: £13.00-£15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
