We are currently recruiting for a Senior Structural Engineer to join a successful growing consultancy based in Gateshead. The Successful Structural engineer will be accountable for features of the design work phase, working right through to the completionof the projects.

The Project sizes range between 1m to 20m; predominantly working within the commercial and residential. The Senior Structural Engineer is expected to be a team player and will be able to work

effectively with clients, building rapports and effectively managing the project undertaken.

**Senior Structural EngineerPosition Overview**
- Undertaking structural surveys of buildings and structures,
- Preparing designs for structural schemes.
- Creating detailed designs and calculations to British Standards
- Using advice given by technicians to create detailed design drawings and specifications for Tender and Construction purposes.
- Visiting sites during the Construction phase to monitor progress and provide advice to Contractors.
- Knowledge of MasterSeries.

**Senior Structural EngineerPosition Requirements**
- Eng in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Membership of the ICE or IStructE, or Chartered
- Technical design and drawing/sketching skills
- Team Player
- Competent Designer with Masterseries experience.

**Senior Structural EngineerPosition Remuneration**
- Salary circa £55K DOE
- Regular pay reviews
- Unique workload
